LATEST NEWS FROM THE CONFIDENT DOG!!
Please come support The Confident Dog’s fundraising efforts together with Ready For Rescue. This is a silent auction fundraising event in honor of Tofu, our recent foster who we lost to a battle of intestinal disease. With these funds, we hope to continue saving, rehabilitating, and re-homing dogs in need.
Sirius is a beautiful, 1 year old male Pitbull puppy who loves to play! Found tied up to a fence by the local police, Sirius was such a good dog that the police did not have the heart to send him to the kill shelter. Instead, they called The Confident Dog Training Services for help.
Sirius is great with people and children, and is uninterested in other dogs when out on walks, but has not yet been tested off-leash around other dogs. He is great with his food and toys, showing no possessiveness. He is crate-trained & leash-trained.
Sirius is currently still living with The Confident Dog Training Services in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn. There is an application approval process, an adoption fee, and a required home visit associated with this adoption. If interested, please call/text Dina at 908-642-0922. Otherwise, please respond via email.

Taylor & Dina saved a beautiful baby dachsund from the Brooklyn Animal Care & Control in December of 2012. After a long search, they finally found the best home for this wonderful dog. Re-named Rudy, he is now a loving member of a great family. Thank you Christine & family for loving Rudy!
Taylor McKenna has started to write for Men’s Journal’s website. The Confident Dog is excited to present to you his first published article.
Titled, “A Workout Fit for the Dogs,” Taylor is a big believer in proper dog exercise.
